Midwestern singer and occasional cigar box player Samantha Fish is making her first visit to Puget Sound in July, playing at the Nectar Lounge on the 6th and Jazzbones on the 8th. Her Wild Heart album flew straight to the top of the Billboard blues chart on the week of its release last August. She’s pretty hot right now, mixing rock and roots Americana with equal artistry to be one of the most budding stars of contemporary blues.
