I was listening to the Wednesday night blues program on KCSS this week and DJ Darrell Angle played some entertaining early reefer tunes from an album titled Reefer Madness, and I had to find it for my own library. It’s not the movie, and there are many albums by the same name. This one was released in 1979 and is out of circulation, except, of course, uploaded on YouTube in its entirety. The lyrics are funny now, and reflect the drug culture of the 1920s and 30s, shortly before prohibition.
