Capps Club and the Washington Blues Society are presenting a free blues show every second Tuesday. The first in the series is next week (7/11), and features a CD release party for Michele D’Amour & the Love Dealers and their album Lost Nights at the Leopard Lounge. Newcomer Nick Mardon will also play that night. Remember, Capps also has a Sunday night blues feature, with dinner and cover for only $20. Tomorrow Stickshift Annie will be on the stage, with Kimball and The Fugitives. Capps is establishing itself as a hub for local blues artists and enthusiasts on the Eastside. Maybe it will start drawing national artists soon.
