Buddy Guy‘s Legends, a venue in Chicago established by the blues great himself, gives live video feeds of most of its performances on gigity.tv. Many are free, some, such as Samantha Fish this evening, cost three to five dollars. Fish doesn’t have many viewers tonight, 14 at most. I guess the Legends channel isn’t well known yet, and on a Friday night people would rather be up close and in person. Still, the quality is very good and I haven’t had the opportunity to see Fish live before. It doesn’t seem to work in Firefox and Linux, but Google Chrome runs it perfectly. Have a look at the schedule and the archives. There are several worth watching.
