Kathi McDonald is a Seattle blues native with a long resume, first performing professionally at age 12 and going on to join Tina Turner and Big Brother and the Holding Company, among other rock luminaries, in the 60s. She recorded her first solo album, Insane Asylum in 1974, but really began to make it on her own in the 90s and has released a series of albums since. She was inducted into the Washington Blues Society Hall of Fame in 1999, and performs mainly in the Seattle area with her own band now, although she also travels with Chicago blues guitarist Rich Kirch.
Here’s a nice performance of Guilty with the Neil Rush Band.
