The Blues Foundation‘s 2017 Blues Music Awards nominations are out, and I’m straining to find Northwest connections. Maybe there are some, at least indirectly. The Highway 99 will be awarded the Keepin’ the Blues Alive award by TBF in a separate ceremony. I guess 2016 was kind of quiet here. It’s an impressive list, in any case, and all deserving.
