Singer/songwriter Erin Austin, of OK Sweetheart, is in residence at the Hotel Sorrento this Summer, and performing new songs and interacting with the audience every Tuesday from 5 to 6 PM. It’s interesting. She discusses her songs the writing process, and takes questions and comments from the audience. About a half dozen people came out this week, and there was a lot exchanged. I only wish I’d participated more, but it was fun and informative to sit back and listen. It continues through the end of August. There’s no admission charge, and prices are happy hour. She’s working on the band’s second album, and it’s sounding good so far. Nice way unwind after work.
