Let’s hope Gibson’s bankruptcy filing is actually a renewal of its core business of musical instruments. Its line of guitars have been a blues standard, the choice of such artists as Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Joe Bonamassa, and, of course, it was BB King‘s Lucille. Now, Gibson can go back to what made it famous, and bring a new generation into the fold.
