The Washington Blues Society has its Blues Bash on the second Tuesday of each month, and the party will really be a blast tomorrow with The Rafael Tranquilino Band on the stage. They’re more famous in Mexico than they are here, but Rafael’s guitar jams and Leah Tussing‘s sweet vocals are building a fan base and making them a favorite on the local blues scene. It’s from 7:00 to 9:30 PM at the Collector’s Choice Restaurant & Lounge (CCR), and admission is free. It’s a good place to meet other blues lovers.
