This is a busy weekend for blues afficiandos, with several national tours converging here, and an all-day festival in Snohomish raising funds for this year’s candidates going to the IBC in January. WBS has the full lineup on its website. Lee Oskar, harpist and a founder of the 70s funk band War, is doing a harmonica virtuoso at Bake’s Place on Saturday; Taj Mahal is making his annual Thanksgiving pilgrimage and playing eight dates at the Jazz Alley; Coco Montoya will be at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center in the Arlington Arts Council’s Legends of the Blues series; and Polly O’Keary is playing three dates, including two this weekend, at the Village Taphouse on Friday and the Conway Muse on Saturday. Then there’s the usual gang playing around town; don’t forget to support your local artists!
