Tommy Castro and the Painkillers released a new album in February, and are in Seattle to celebrate. If you missed them at Jazzbones last week, you can still catch them at The Triple Door on Tuesday. Killin’ It Live was recorded at shows in Texas, New York, Michigan and California, and captures Tommy and his band playing the blues, R&B and rock & roll in peak form. It has eight original songs and two old Castro greats, She Wanted To Give It To Me and Make It Back to Memphis. Pick it up whether you can go to the show or not, it’s an impressive collection. Tickets for the show are for sale online or at the door.
