Tom McFarland played the Seattle blues scene in the 1970s before hrefore travelin’ on with his jazzy style to several other cities and recording three albums, including Voodoo Garden in 1990. He died in Salt Lake City in 2001. This album has a special place for me; it was one of three given to me by my late brother early in my alcohol recovery, when I was facing a new set of problems and needed support and a calming influence. I needed the blues.
