Lemmy Kilmister had a good run. My metal friends are stunned, but two bottles of Jack Daniels a day and not being upfront with his doctors ended up being his downfall. They could’ve caught the cancer much earlier. Still, he once said “I don’t want to live forever,” and chose a flamboyant lifestyle around sex and drugs and rock & roll that many would envy and added to his legend.
