Music is known to have physical, emotional, and spiritual healing effects. KEXP, in collaboration with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Proton Therapy Center, is presenting Music Heals on Thursday: 12 hours of discussion and music on the power of music in lifting cancer victims and their families. The program will be followed by a dance at KEXP’s Gathering Space at Seattle Center. Although cancer will be the focus, you can expect it to cover much broader aspects. The program is from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the dance, from 6 to 8, is free.
