Enjoying a British import album, Eric Clapton & the Yardbirds (listed as Tribute to Elmore on Amazon). It’s a nice collection, opening with seven instrumental numbers by Clapton, and jamming with Jimmy Page on a few songs (Choker, Freight Loader, Miles Road and Tribute to Elmore). They’re sweet together. No singing by Clapton. Keith Relf does the lead vocals for the second half of the album, a set of early (1963-65) Yardbirds from the Clapton years. If you like the 60s British blues rock, this a good CD to have in your collection. There are only a few remaining on Amazon, though, so grab it quickly.
