Eugene’s Saturday Market is hosting a cigar box guitar festival on June 6th. Cigar box guitars have had a revival in recent years, with people discovering their gritty sound and renewal of an earlier style. Assembly kits are popular, and they’re finding their way on the stage with contemporary blues artists. The festival is free, and begins at 10:00 AM.
