Twin siblings Eva and Cedric Walker have a distinctive musical style that blends their southern roots with their native northwest sensibilities. Joined by bassist Robby Little, The Black Tones is an afro-punk band with a streak of the blues. You might have heard them on the radio recently, where they’ve been getting a lot of play time. KEXP will be featuring them at the August 24th Concerts at the Mural, and they’re playing at the Capitol Hill Block Party on opening night. They’re also opening for Ayron Jones at the Jazzbones July 27th.
